Outline of the workshop
The aim of the workshop was to serve as a think-tank on how basic information on mechanisms that control plant growth and tolerance to abiotic stress can be best translated to improve crop productivity. Participants were from academia as well as from private enterprises. The outcome is a white paper describing the current state of the area and suggestions for new directions in research within Europe at European and National level.
