EPSO Poster Awards
Prague, 29.6.2016: EPSO awarded three poster prizes, announced by EPSO Vice-President Cathie Martin at the conference dinner. Congratulations to Katarzyna Gajek from Poland, Neha Vaid from Germany and Katie Wilkins from the UK, who each received a 200 euros prize. We thank our poster jury for selecting the three awardees for the EPSO Poster prices: Cathie Martin (jury chair), Thomas Schmulling, Eva Stoger and Przemyslav Wojtaszek.
EPSO Conference Support Grants
Brussels, 10.2.2016: EPSO selected the recipients of the EPSO Conference Support Grants: 7 PhD students and 3 scientists from 10 countries from EPSO Institutional members have been selected to facilitate participation to the Plant Biology Europe Conference in Prague 26-30.6.2016 from across Europe. The student grants support Antonio Coniglio (IT), Magdolna Gombos (HU), Rim Hanza (ES), Karolina Jarzyniak (PL), Tijana Martinovic (SV), Mafalda Rodrigues (PT) and Claire Stoker (UK), whereas the scientist grants were awarded to Erkki Truve (EE), George Skaracis (GR) and Sonia Socaci (RO).
The Plant Biology 2016 EPSO Conference Support Grant covers 4 nights’ accommodation and registration.
Students and scientists receiving a Plant Biology 2016 EPSO Conference Support Grant are required to submit a poster abstract and to join the social media activity before / during / after the conference led by Calum MacKichan from EPSO.
