Patricia Reilly, member of Cabinet of European Commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, said on the 6 October: 'The Innovation Union Flagship Communication was adopted this morning. I hope you will agree that this initiative is a bold move in the right direction for European economic recovery and renewed competitiveness.
