- FAO: Study “Plates, pyramids, planet- Developments in national healthy and sustainable dietary guidelines: a state of play assessment” by FAO and the Food Climate Research Network (FCRN), 19.5.2016, shows that promoting good nutrition can go hand in hand with addressing sustainability and climate change and fundamental role of plant science / sector in this systems approach. ERA-CAPS: Update to 3rd ERA-CAPS call preannouncement, 12.5.2016 – Bottom-up collaboration in molecular plant sciences. Funding organisations that indicate participation in this call: FWF (AT), FNRS (BE), DFG (DE), NCN (PL), MPNTR (Serbia), SNSF (CH), BBSRC (UK), NSF (USA). Some countries allow only 1 PI from their country per proposal – see National Annexes upon call launch. Foreseen timing: call announcement 23.6.2016, deadline pre-proposals 28.9.2016

ERA-CAPS: 3rd ERA-CAPS call preannouncement, 4.4.2016 – Bottom-up collaboration in molecular plant sciences including e.g. Food and nutrition security, Non-food crops, Adaptation to a changing climate, biotic/abiotic stress. In addition, a data-oriented sub-call is considered. Already funding organisations from 7 countries indicated participation in this call. Foreseen timing: call announcement 23.6.2016, deadline pre-proposals 28.9.2016.
