Light Sensing Symposium, 11 June 2012, Geneva, Switzerland: deadline April15

The Department of Molecular Biology and the Department of Botany and Plant Biology of the University of Geneva are pleased to announce the:

            Light Sensing Symposium
         Geneva, June 11, 2012
              In honour of Jean-David Rochaix

The "Light Sensing Symposium" will bring together a panel of outstanding scientists to offer a cutting-edge update on light perception and photosynthesis in plants and algae. These topics will be put in a broader perspective that will include light perception in mammals, circadian rythms and optogenetics.

The Symposium is co-sponsored by the CUSO PhD Programme in Molecular Plant Sciences, tutorials will be organized for the PhD students on June 12.
