Bioeconomy Conference 2012, 26-28 March 2012, Copenhagen, Denmark

The EC Bioeconomy Strategy  <http://ec.europa.eu/research/bioeconomy/news-events/news/20120213_en.htm>  will be at the core of the "Bioeconomy in Action" Conference in Copenhagen on 26-27-28 March 2012 organised under the aegis of the Danish Presidency of the EU.

The first day, 26 March, will have a more celebrative and political dimension with the presentation of the Bioeconomy Strategy "Innovating for Sustainable Growth: a Bioeconomy for Europe".

The "Bioeconomy stakeholders" conference on the second day, 27 March, hosted at the University of Copenhagen, will be more operational moving from concepts to actual implementation scenarios.

Another parallel initiative is foreseen on the 27 March: the BIOPROM Workshop gathering communication experts dealing with innovative approaches in communicating research & science in the field of Bio-Economy especially to the young generations. The BIOPROM Workshop is also open to concerned teachers, educators and students will take place at the Experimentarium.

On the 28th March those interested will have an opportunity to visit the Inbicon Biomass refinery in Kalundborg
