Research Specialist : UCL, Louvain, Belgium

The Catholic University of Louvain research seek a full-time specialist  in Agro-écosystèmes and ecophysiology. The appointee will pursue research primarily in one of the following areas:

  • Agro-écosystèmes
  • The plant and its adaptation to the environment ecophysiology
  • Sustainable agriculture and environmental impact of agricultural activities

The choice of research themes should allow the development of collaborations with stakeholders in the agricultural sector, with a priority for the temperate research.

The research will be carried out in the activities of the Institute ELI (Earth and Life Institute).

The specialist will also provide lessons in general biology, as well as in the fields mentioned above for studies managed by the Faculty of Science (SC) and the Faculty of engineering biological, environmental and Agronomique (AGRO) cycles.

In addition to his/her area of specialisation, the incumbent will demonstrate knowledge and a real motivation to develop effective collaborations within agricultural productions and associated research centres, producers, political and administrative authorities involved with agricultural environment .
