The benefits of EPSO Personal Membership

Since its introduction in 2007, EPSO has now more than 3100 personal members, out of which more than 2500 are professionals, 200 postdocs and 370 students. Members are of all nationalities, professions, career stages and age groups worldwide.

With this membership, any individual with an interest in plant science can have access to EPSO News – the bimonthly newsletter, a discounted registration fee to conferences and the possibility for students and New Member States’ scientists to apply for an EPSO conference support grant.

Other benefits of being a personal member include the opportunity to participate in the EPSO workshops, the access to members only information on the EPSO website, as well as access to the e-database of EPSO members. Personal members can also submit job adverts for

publication on the EPSO website and search the e-job listings. For every 500 personal memberships from outside Institutional members, there is one representative at the General Meeting. A personal membership fee applies, according to the career stage. The fee is waived for individuals working in an EPSO member institute or university.
